Well the Rift MMO finally came out with a demo which pleased my husband. I was reluctant to try it because it seemed too "WOWish". I must say that I was pleasantly surprised. It does have some characteristics of WOW but the rifts and invasions is what sets it apart. I could happily level just doing those. The quests are alright, nothing special. The typical kill this and collect that. Really the only negative is the lack of cross server looking for dungeon groups. I have sat in que for two hours and still no group. I have even qued as a tank and healer-still no group. The auction house is pretty dead too, due to lack of population I imagine.
